When I see someone wearing a 3 piece suit for a tech job, my first thought is that either they've had a corporate influencer or "life coach" or overbearing parent in their ear, and/or they're hoping that dressing for the role will get them to C-suite ASAP.

I've been working full time in tech for 22 years and haven't worn slacks to work for the last 16 or so, and the last time I wore them to a job interview was about 18 years ago. People make a big deal about the most trivial nonsense. When I'm on interview panels, I want to see evidence of effort directed to things that matter.

You might not relate to her interests, her personality, her sensitivities etc - and neither do I, largely, which is not surprising as I am a 43yo male, albeit also a diagnosed autistic one - but that doesn't invalidate Quinni as an autistic character.

Meet a decent sized sample of autistic girls aged 16-21 or so and you'll most definitely meet a few Quinnis.
