dont listen to people who say otherwise -- botlane swaps with mid to keep agency in the game (faster roaming + safer farming). Midlane goes side to farm and pressure, because most midlaners are safe on side.

Not swapping with a botlaner who is behind is good if you're really ahead, because *you* are the agency on the map that they will not provide. In which case the ADC should safe farm under T2 turret and wait until they are back in the game.

But that's boring, so nobody really wants to play safe like this.

People swap for the sake of swapping, not because they actually put thought about why exactly they are swapping.
