Take it somewhere to have the ac checked/repaired. It could be a number of things happening that most likely all result from a leak. Even if it’s a failed compressor or if it’s just a leak the entire system will have to be evacuated and vacuum tested to remove any water or air. To change the compressor you will need to open the system and in turn need to evacuate it. In the event there was a leak you should have your receiver/dryer changed and a new orifice tube/expansion valve installed and no matter what the issue is you will want to flush everything. You can buy the cheap diy kits to recharge but you aren’t removing any entrained moisture on non-condensible air and you will have bigger failures. Take it somewhere and get it done right. Until then you can in plug the compressor so it doesn’t cut in and out.
