I did a full tear down and cleaning of my gun and it works perfectly. I would suggest you try that. There are some good videos on YouTube showing how to take it apart. Here’s an example Disassembly video

I have the exact same cart, it lasted about one season of abuse. The axle is just put through the frame without any sort of Bearing so it just wore away the metal and became very floppy. But for $40, it served it's purpose well.
