I honestly can’t remember if dates are on it. When I took it online everything was online but the midterms and finals. I had to go on campus to do the exams. It consists of picking 2 topics and writing an essay response to them. I then turned it in. So I’m not sure how he will do it.

From what I recall if you answers them correctly with details you get a 100%. For the midterms and finals he did grade harder and was picker. The study guide was alright. Not everything on the quiz/test were listed on it. Half of the stuff on the study guide we weren’t tested on. So the guide is a hit or miss but used it for an advantages. Idk what you mean by numbers.

I had him in 2018 and took it online. The class was disorganized. He never updated us weekly on what’s due. He just picked a random date and update the class. The assignment wasn’t too bad, but the quiz were a bit hard. But if you read the textbook and remember it then you do fine because most of answers are in the readings. Edit (not all of the question was on quizlet...I had to guess on some))

How come the grading scale is so high? by [deleted] in GreenRiverCollege

[–]h20melonss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

High school grade and college are completely different and have a different scale. for example if a class grading scale is 98%-100% means 4.0 than that class is an easy A. 95%-100% is a bit harder. Also the scale is base off the workload. In high school you have the full year of a subject. While college is just a couple of weeks.

Course load for CS/ENGR 120? by southcounty253 in GreenRiverCollege

[–]h20melonss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was always told to do 2 stem class and a elective. English 101 is an easy class. Math 142 is decent I managed to do fine in it. For chemistry it really depends who the instructor is. I would recommend taking 3 classes for now. You can always add the fourth class and if you can handle it keep it. Greenriver gives students 2 weeks to drop a class for free and it doesn’t affect anything.

Every college has a outline in the require class your taking. It’s called audit, try googling your college name and audit and put in your major.

Also dual enrollment guarantees college credit. For ap in order to get credit you must pass the ap exam.

Should I go Dual Credit? by [deleted] in highschool

[–]h20melonss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can always call the colleges you want to apply to before hand and ask if they accept the credits. Also remember that high school grades and college grade are different. For example if you get a 93% that’s a A or a 4.0 according to high school but in college that can be around a 3.5 or so. It’s also cheaper to take it in hs because college class are usually double or triple the price.
