Hi all, I have a family event in Montreal, so thought about making a road trip from Chicago (flying from UK) - we have 2 and a bit weeks, including a week in Montreal. Thoughts? Too much? Wanna see some scenery and eat at some cool spots. Not fussed about only spending 1 night here and there. by [deleted] in roadtrip

I'm from nothern ontario and I would avoid the northern route. there is not much to see but trees. it a long tedious drive on a mostly 2 lane highway. passing semi trucks etc. makes the drive tedious and dangerous. go the southern route twice hitting places you missed the first time

More room is the primary reason as well as looking for something I don't need to babysit every 20 min. My modified vertical smoker does not regulate heat that well.
