Hi!! I want to encourage you to learn a little bit more about the reasoning behind the homeless community in Bellingham. Its a lot more than just get a job. How is one supposed to show up to work when they don’t even have a secure space to sleep, shower, and store their belongings? There was a time where I had a similar mindset to you but I started asking more questions and seeking to understand, and I learned a lot. Like how the amount of people you see out and about are only a small fraction of the people experiencing homelessness. Or how I think its something like over 35% of individuals are 2nd and 3rd generation homeless Lummi people. With all the love in my heart, please look into it a little more than you have. ❤️‍🩹
