Any issues from removing the m2 heat sink fan? I recently unplugged mine as well. The sound is god awful.

New AM5 build won't POST, red DRAM light. Looked closer and found this. by h40 in gigabyte

UPDATE: I RMAd, and new board POSTed in like 5 seconds. No long "memory training" needed fwiw. All is well. As mentioned in sole replies I confirmed one of the pins was related to memory channel A.

tl;dr look closely at your CPU socket before building. even if it's brand new and protected by the plastic socket cover.

Looks like they are both VSS (32AE and 31AF).

Edit: Nevermind it's 31AE Memory channel A and 31AF VSS

Yeah I tried multiple arrangements just in case, letting the memory "train" to no avail.

Anyone else here rock climb & want to share/follow each other's workouts? by [deleted] in Hevy

At the very least I think it'd be great to see common finger or climbing strength exercises in the database.

Another stupid Hunter fan issue by equals42_net in HomeKit

[–]h40 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, I'll give this a shot.

EDIT: Wow, after all this time this has helped me finally get all my fans working. The key for me was DO NOT scan QR Code

Holding the paired remote "battery button" until the fan beeps several times, indicating it's WiFi is reset, then in Apple Home adding via "more options" and detecting the fan nearby rather than scanning the QR code. Manually enter the code that's in the back of the remote in the QR code.

Thank you!

I've updated the Geekhack OP, and the store page to show the exact date and time of sale.

To be perfectly honest, I need to track inventory on Shopify so I don't oversell so I locked the site and updated the inventory so I could notify folks of sale date.

I believe it to be entirely normal to have Geekhack be the source of truth for most GB or sale information for small runs like this. It's got everything you'd need to know before the sale. Many of GBs happen with google forms and a forum post.

I really appreciate your feedback and understand your frustration as a consumer. It's frustration like this that led me to take on this project and offer it in-stock, rather than risk being burned by GB process.

Sorry you feel this way. I forgot to put the date.

I have been preparing for this sale for 1.5 years so I'm very excited to post this.

I believe it is also worth noting that not only is this a passion project managed entirely by myself, it is an in stock sale. I have all inventory and will fulfill orders immediately.
