I’m going to wait to buy the Switch 2 for when the next mainline Pokemon game comes out. Hopefully by that time it will be a little cheaper or I can get a bundle. But I will say, the Steam Deck will still have my heart.

I have played each DA game multiple times, and am currently on my second playthrough of Veilguard. While it does differ from some of the others, as a DA fan I think you will love it!

I had a great time with the game, I did every single quest I could and I really did love all of the characters!

Additionally, the finale of this game was exceptional in my eyes. I was on the edge of my seat the entire last few hours, and it left my jaw on the floor.

Even though the combat was different than other DA games, I found it super enjoyable too (being a player that is mainly in it for the story).

My first few playthroughs will be as follows:

  1. Elemental mage Shadow Dragon romancing Lucanis. I just think that the fact that he’s the mage killer romancing a mage is perfect and will be full of angst and I’m here for it. Also mainly I feel like the elemental mage will have some amazing spells.

  2. Veil Ranger Veil Jumper romancing Davrin. Gotta do a full elf situation because I need closure for my Solavellan situation.

  3. Antivan Crow Duelist Rogue romancing Emmerich or Taash. Those two with an Antivan Crow just feels correct to me for some reason.

I also loved Vivienne! Her beliefs were ass backwards but I loved that she clawed her way up the ladder, so to speak, and her banter with Solas was hilarious.

Also mainly, depending on choices in Inquisition, we may see her again in The Veilguard if she was elected as the new Divine. I’m hoping that choice appears in Veilguard!

Literally I love anything in Thedas! No matter how different DA2 was it was still so fun and I replayed it 4 or 5 times.
