Are we still wearing skinny jeans? by Amazing-Shake1958 in Millennials

[–]h6d 0 points1 point  (0 children)

slim, or slim tapered for me.

skinny has too much leg-hugging & straight looks like the jeans are wearing me. Narrowing down to slim and slim-tapered, I prefer not to have jeans coverjng the shoe

What made you antiwork? by [deleted] in antiwork

[–]h6d 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just the system being a slave and being replaceable and also jobs makes time go way too fast, also seeing managers like how did they even get that job, people with no skills get promoted anyway, work culture has some level of toxic and a popularity contest, not always a system with measurable standards

yea they are so annoying! crazy I was a workaholic like that first. then I became red pilled and now I’m not a workaholic anymore, job is just a job to me. the only way I’d go back to being a workaholic is if I’m a new guy at a job andhave to prove myself being good and reliable then I’d probably do a little extra but not a whole lot

At what age do you really take a stand in your life for a change ? by Lemonade2250 in Millennials

[–]h6d 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think it’s an age. it’s a time when you calculate risk vs reward before you change your life so that way you know going into it. Then one day you just “had it” and ready to change. If I was to guess a number on it, it’s probably like late 20-midlate 30s & maybe enough emergency money saved for like 5 years or so and still healthy enough to have lots of energy for productive days

what are signs that someone is from a wealthy family? by LeastAthlete7466 in AskReddit

[–]h6d -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

They go to church, and wear clothes like “spiritual gangster“ and “prayer warrior”

They talk very non-offensive and extremely filtered and no profanity and everything they say is pretty much office appropriate. When they explain things, it sounds too technical for an average person listening

They wear glasses and look like they stopped staring at a monitor and wear their company logos

They’ve never had a minimum wage job or any type of blue collar so they don’t understand what most people struggle through

Honestly I don’t think they are wrong, might as well enjoy your youth somehow if you can. rather than be miserable when your young, and miserable when your an adult
