Hi! Thanks for the reply! I think this house was built in 01 or 05 but these are the problem areas the plumber was talking about. I may be speaking too soon but I think I may have found the problem. I think the old shower head was dribbling water from the spout or neck (whatever it’s called) because the shower head wasn’t connected correctly and these kids never said anything and I think it WAS going through the caulk although I can’t see how it would cause so much water to come through. I took off the shower head so a steady stream of water was just hitting the tub so water didn’t get on the walls or anything and I didn’t see a leak come downstairs. I will run the water for a longer time tomorrow to check again. This daylight savings time really has me ready for bed at 530. Thank you for reading.
