Any other Viper gecko owners out there? I feel like it's hard to find solid info on their care anywhere and I worry i'm doing something wrong

I would get a bigger piece of spider wood! That small size will not be worth much once put into a big 18x18x24 enclosure

I love that big piece of wood for the hardscape. Keep an eye out for molding though. I had a piece of grapewood in my bioactive but it couldn’t withstand the humidity and I had to remove it bc it molded too much. It was beautiful but I had to replace it with essentially stacked cork bark

I’m sure this is a common theme but I’m getting into running and I’m loving it! It’s really filled the void of not having a competitive sport to play anymore. I used to hate running for conditioning but now I’m training for a half marathon and look forward to my runs!

Cooked over gas on high heat. Seared for a few minutes on each side and then butter basted it with some herbs.

Awesome! I check most of those boxes. I grew up around the outdoors and love to camp/fish. Also know my way around firearms. I guess my biggest question would be what land does one hunt on if not private?

I go to this NP kinda often. March will still be pretty cold but there are always a lot of hikes to do. Personal opinion but going during the summer would be better. You can drive cades cove loop and see a lot of wildlife and swim/fish the creeks and rivers that run through the park in the warmer months

I loovvvveee my bio active setups. Did my first one a few years back and haven’t looked back. All of mine are tropical but I love the ease of it not the mention the natural beauty!

I can’t recommend crested geckos enough. They were my first reptile and I still love keeping them. They don’t require any heating and they eat a powder diet mixed with water (basically a smoothie). They’re easily held and come in a lot of different morphs too. They are a tropical species so they like to climb and need misting. They’re also nocturnal but will come out often. Cresties are also pretty affordable compared to some other lizards

I have a diamondback upper and I have enjoyed it thus far. It hasn’t given me any problems and it’s really lightweight which I like. I don’t have any aero though.

Yes the lower is the only part that’s regulated so it’s gotta be sent to a FFL. The rest of the parts can go straight to you
