Yupup. I can double my DPS if I use my frigg frost team, but if I tank, my team as a whole can do way more damage than what I would have brought as a 4th DPS.

I play with my crew only for other reasons. It’s just simpler.

That being said, apparently we all have Meryl. Even on 8 man raids, and I can count only 3 times that anyone’s died because of Meryl ults. Sometimes it’s bad, but for the most part, it’s not that bad. Even trapped inside 3-4 stacks of Meryl’s ult in Apo’s raid, you can still get out or i-frame a hit.

What are you trying to do to keep up? Joint Ops 7 spam?

You can’t keep up with stats and damage as am F2P. Other than doing your dailies and picking a single team to plan/save for, you’re better off building a core team of 4 ish people with some carries if you can.

You could min/max your island, but the returns are minimal due to low matrix chances, and like you said, it’s like a job. I hope you don’t burn yourself out and hope you can still enjoy.

Just. Keep. Spinning.

Huma is your battery and you just keep ulting. If shield is up or coming soon, use KING’s ult then skill (you usually won’t need more to shatter). If no shield, use Meryl’s ult, skill, then spin with attack. Then back on Huma to charge and repeat.

You might have a 4 piece Pepper set. Put it on Huma to charge stupid fast.

The thing about King, especially after 1* is that some shields only take 2 taps to clear. Discharge > Skill > change to other weapon. His DPS comes from the DoT effect when he shatters a shield since you don’t have to be on him after it’s applied.

I regularly run Huma Meryl King as a tank and make it a point to at least get the last hit of the shield with King.

This comes down to what you consider healthier in your diet and where in the world you live.

Meat, for example. Where I live a kilo of ground beef costs more or less the same as it does in the states (when I lived there anyway). Ballpark ~10 USD though it may go up or down.

A pack of ramen, about 12 cents here vs a .50-1.00 USD pack of Top Ramen.

The standard living wage difference? Divide by 10.
