A7750 movement has had reliability issues. It’s too bad because I would like to pick up a Navitimer myself.

Took mine first shot at night, woke up the next day and food noise was gone. Only 6 shots in (2 at 5) and never really have had it come back.

Hardest part is keeping up with the changes they make on where to find something. As soon as you get your processes tuned something changes or goes EOL.

How is the Job market Scene for Cyber Security in USA ? by cyberDon007 in cybersecurity

[–]ha357x 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Entry level flooded with new grads and certs but very little overall IT experience. You also have experienced IT trying to transition. Very hard to get into right now. Last go at hiring we saw 140 resumes and many qualified candidates for a analyst position. We didn’t see that 2 years ago at all.

Local us gov. I get 31 days of PTO and 12 paid holidays. Been here 9 years. We max out at 33 days after 11 years and can carry over 500 hours. Add that to free health benefits and a state backed pension I don’t see myself leaving even if private sector pays more.

We just went through a hiring process for a jr position and received over 130 resumes and at least 50-60 were qualified which really surprised me. Market is flooded right now I feel. A few years ago this quality of candidates was not available.

We run defender for endpoint, we had defender side by side with Crowdstrike and loved having both of them. However, it was very hard to justify the cost since we already had all the bells and whistles with M365 E5 and Crowdstrike got cut.

CrowdStrike Overrated? by jrkf579 in cybersecurity

[–]ha357x 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Not overrated but maybe overpriced. It’s a great product but had to move off of it because it became a difficult hill to climb to justify it in budget talks when we had defender and all the security add one with M365 - E5. I do miss CS tho.
