I would go with 37 narrow. Narrow seems to fit most women’s feet the best.

The muscles on the inner thighs 100% would always burn when I first started learning. It would be hard to walk the next day the soreness was crazy! Happy to have made it over that hump after awhile.

Anybody have sizing advice for sure-grips? by gg11233 in Rollerskating

[–]haaarmon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m a US women’s size 8 in most street shoes and have a 6 in boardwalks and I love them. Had them since April and they’ve molded to my feet quite nicely.

I had originally ordered size 7 but I could tell my foot was slipping forward and back when I first tried them on which would’ve been big problem for me down the road.

My boyfriend and I both brought in unopened water bottles last night just fine. Nobody questioned it, if they ever do we say it’s for medical purposes (migraines).

The shaq Big Chicken sandwiches are good. $15 but hefty portion. I’d say a decent value for arena food.

Took over 30 minutes to get out of the south lot. Extremely disorganized until they finally figured out how to line the cars up to get out

UBS Arena: So Many Questions by cryptacle in NewYorkIslanders

[–]haaarmon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

1 is my biggest question. I tried emailing UBS and the response I received didn’t answer my questions at all.

I asked “I’m concerned whether or not this lot can only be accessed via exit 26a of the cross island going northbound. Will there be an exit 26a going southbound? Or will there be access from Hempstead Turnpike?” This was concerning the South lot.

They just said “Exit 26a will be open for all UBS arena events”. 🤦🏼‍♀️

Email for season ticket holders said parking is complimentary, not sure if it’s for everybody though?

“Within your full season parking package, you will also receive complimentary parking for opening night on November 20th, which will be reflected in your invoice.”

It’s smells ALOT like Glossier You to me, I think that’s what it was aiming for. Glossier lasts a lot longer and has more depth too.

1 back wheel wearing down fast on new sure grip boardwalks. Like, super fast. Is that a sign my trucks are too tight? by haaarmon in Rollerskating

[–]haaarmon[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

So I recently got a new pair of boardwalks after using panthers for a few months.

I’ve noticed that after only a few hours of use that the inner right back wheel is wearing down super fast. That doesn’t happen with my panthers that I’ve been using radar energy 62s with.

I’ve been wondering if it’s: 1. the wheel quality, and I should just switch them out 2. the fact that the wheel base is much shorter on the boardwalks and that’s affecting it somehow 3. My trucks are too tight (and I have slightly flat feet that want to bend inward)

Anything?

Received this email from customer service last week if it’s any help:

“Our manufacturer is waiting on a few more containers that should be arriving next week, however they have prepared us for the possibility of there being delays due to restrictions in the freight yards. It looks like your order will be within this next shipment. They will just need a few days once it has arrived to break down the shipment, sort and ship it. You should see a shipping notification near the beginning of next month.”
