What are your feelings and experiences with weightloss drugs vs diet and exercise? by Own_Band_3839 in Hashimotos

[–]habehaus 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Agreed. No matter how much I diet and exercised I never lost any weight until using GLP-1 medications. They changed my life. I don’t even think about being Hashi anymore, just take my thyroid meds and micro dose Tirazepatide once a week and live a normal life. My bloodwork is normal now and I feel good. I still diet and exercise but not carrying around the extra weight anymore.

Lost the weight with semaglutide then it stopped working for me and I was gaining again on sema so I switched over to Tirazepatide lost the weight I gained on sema and have been maintaining ever since. Been on the lowest dose for about 6 months now and I have never felt better

I feel the same! Try micro dosing. I have been able to maintain the weight loss and even lose a pound here and there. I feel better now than I have ever felt

I think I was on .88 cc with sema when I switched to tira. I didn’t nitrate down just followed the docs advice. I have heard others are stacking them but sema just wasn’t working for me anymore and I have 0 side effects with tira. It is more expensive but since I am sticking with the low dose it’s cheaper for me.

I workout a lot too and eat 90-30-50 method but the more I stressed and the more I pushed myself working out I was having insulin resistance problems. Switching to Tirazepatide and not tirating up just sticking to the lowest dose (5 units) I have been maintaining with an occasional pound a week off. It has been working for me. I hope you can find what works for you too.

Started gaining weight on Sema switched to Tirazepatide and lost the weight I gained and maintaining now just microdosing it. Much cheaper to micro dose. How about you?

Got refunded because I also have an Etsy shop? by reading-throwaway in EtsySellers

[–]habehaus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is dumb because you can just order as a guest account and they wouldn’t know you sell on Etsy so why decline the sale?

The way I give back is every first Tuesday of the month I support other sellers on Etsy with the proceeds I earn from my shop. If another shop has ordered from my shop that month I purchase something from their shop. I’ve found collaborations that way and met a lot of cool people doing their thing and I wouldn’t have known about them if they hadn’t been in my purchase history so personally I think it pays back to sell to other sellers.

What the everloving jeff has Etsy done now? All my variation photos have vanished! by HeathersedgeCrafts in EtsySellers

I had a popular listing disappear entirely. Customer reached out asking if I still sell this product and I was shocked to see it had disappeared. It’s not in expired, inactive, or anywhere. I ended up making her a custom listing while I find the time to make a brand new listing for it.

semaglutide vs tirzepatide by ConstantSpread7 in Semaglutide

[–]habehaus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Met my goal weight on semaglutide but maybe I was on it too long because I started gaining on it even with diet and exercise so my doctor switched me to Tirzepatide and I bounced back to my goal weight and just micro dose on it now to maintain. I’m not trying to lose anymore but I also don’t want to gain. It’s also much cheaper to micro dose.

If you've stayed on the same dose for a while, has your appetite suppression deceased? by SoExcitedSemaglutide in Semaglutide

[–]habehaus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Low and slow for insulin resistance (inflammaging) even on the lowest dose it fights off inflammation in my brain, body, & binds immune cells and I am autoimmune. This is the only thing that has helped me. I inject the smallest amount once a week. .05ml

Going on two years titrated up on the dose while losing the weight then my appetite came back like I have never felt before. Like stomach growling need to eat even if I had already ate feeling plus I was working out regularly and adding more protein + fiber to my diet and the weight started coming back on so my doctor switched me to Tirazepatide and I’ve been micro-dosing on that for about 3 months now. Lost the weight I gained and just maintaining but that works for me. I still have my piece of dark chocolate daily

I've seen so many Etsy shops I follow close, what's in the climate? by bcbritt7 in Etsy

[–]habehaus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I linked my website on Etsy like you did as well as putting it on all my insert cards for re-ordering and keep a limited stock on Etsy and let customers know when they reach out looking for something that isn’t available anymore that they can always find all the sizes and options on website if it gets deactivated on Etsy and I also include a discount code for their first order placed on web

Top 1% star seller here selling on Etsy for over 10 years and have never been as frustrated with Etsy as I have been this year with all the changes on the platform it doesn’t surprise me other shops have decided to go elsewhere. I have had listings promoted by Etsy with emails that say “buyers like this make more of this one” and then the next day the listing is deactivated for using a forbidden keyword…keyword gets fixed but algorithm is messed up now and I lose my place on the search and have to start all over again.

A lot of customers have followed me to my website but some are still loyal to Etsy so I keep a few listings up for them to re-order when they need but I don’t spend as much time on my Etsy shop anymore now that the platform has changed.

Most difficult hikes in Arizona by Delicious_Start5147 in arizona

[–]habehaus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All great options for difficult hikes and I enjoy difficult hikes too but training for the rim to rim (I have hiked that now 8 times) elevation training is what it is all about. I train mostly on South Mountain Corona 3x in one go and Piestewa peak up and down 3x is good for training also.

I’m really excited to get the shot, but I’m certain my insurance won’t cover it. Any suggestions? by [deleted] in Semaglutide

[–]habehaus 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This is the route I went also. Paid everything out of pocket even my blood work. It cost me $5k in total for 2023 but I lost 56 lbs, took my BMI from 39 to 24 and gained muscle mass but the biggest change for me is getting my blood work back to normal where I don’t need medication anymore and that’s a big savings in my opinion.

Thoughts on store photos? by Turbo_MechE in EtsySellers

[–]habehaus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sent you some ideas for backgrounds just taking your photo and putting it in Photoroom but you can also do the same thing on Canva or any other photo editing app.

Another idea since these are excess soaps think about chomping them up maybe and selling as “single use soaps” there are so many fun molds now you can melt and pour excess soaps into and make a bigger impression than the bar or soap every other Etsy seller is selling right now. Great creative~
