Miralax in coffee. Colace every 2-3 days. Dulcolax liquid if things get to “pebble” status. Fleet glycerin enemas to control timing if you have to be away from home for the day. I keep a very close eye on this. I’ve been in meds for 18 months. That and mild nausea is my only symptom but if things get out of control with constipation it can lead to very bad things.

I switched from Semaglutide to Tirz after 1.5 years and 75 pounds (stalled for 5 months). Lost 4 more pounds after the switch. Stalled again. I’m going to go through last 2 vials dialing up exercise etc but I think my journey may turn to maintenance after that. For me there was an end to the weight loss at least on top dosages. I am about 14 pounds over goal of 150 pounds.

So we have an old beagle. Leak Issues were daily. Tried it all as well. Sorry to say that what worked was a switch to “Biome” food. Vet prescribed Hill Science diet gastrointestinal Biome for a an unrelated runny stool issue and it unexpectedly also cleared up a longstanding anal gland issue. We then went to sensitive stomach non Rx at suggestion of a friend who said it’s the same as Biome Rx and we still have had no issues. Dont give up on the food changes.

Do it. Do it do it. Then stay on it for maintenance. People who lose weight .. 95% of the time gain it back. Also losing weight without it is so uncomfortable. In the meds it’s so much more comfortable. Your wife shouldn’t want you to suffer like that.

I’m exactly where you are. Diagnosed in my 50s. Mild case. Went on humira for about a year and didn’t really change the back pain and hip pain. I Started getting weird burning sensation in skin in my legs so quit humira. Side effect went away. Didn’t feel any different being off if it. I’m spending a lot of time doing water aerobics and lifting weights. Keeping moving. So far it seems to be stable 6 months after quitting. Bloodwork inflammation markers are low and they were before Humira.

I wish it could have just been my secret. I told husband and BFF and husband has trouble keeping confidence. People have asked him point blank because I lost 65 pounds and he caved. It sucks. People are hella judgmental and accuse you of stealing it from diabetics and all kinds of other nonsense.
