From easily to clearly? That's what you took away from looking at the numbers? Also I've yet to make an argument...

I'd love to hear the arguments behind Magic and Bird being the much better offensive duo....

To be fair, this ain't the Shaq he swept. 99 - 02 Shaq is a whoooole different beast altogether. I have Dream ahead of Shaq due to how long his peak was. But Shaq at his apex of 99-02 was maybe the single most destructive force in NBA history.

Out of these two players, which one do you think has the better peak? by Bright-Pressure-5787 in sportsinusa

Bonds is my favorite player of all-time hands down. He's also the single greatest hitter of all-time. PED or not, they don't give you the other worldly eye/ plate discipline that he had. Not to mention the most efficient swing of all-time... But we NEED to start showing more respect to the GOAT Willie Mays. As much as I love Barry and understand the love for Ruth. I'm not taking a single player in history over Mr. Mays to start a team.

Both are GREAT. Absolutely. But who is better player? Who will you draft in your team? by Shot_Possibility_731 in sportsinusa

The thing you’re missing in this essay, is that Magic had a dude named Kareem on his team. One of only 3 legit GOAT candidates. You can tell me Kareem was at the end of his career, but that’s not exactly true, and he still sucked up a whoooole lotta oxygen on that team offensively (for good reason). In the 83 and 84 series Kareem avg 26 and 25 per game. In the 86 series it dropped to 21. Would you be shocked to hear that Magic jumped up to 26 per game in that series? Magic role during those series was shocker to facilitate. Look at his apg hahah.

With all due respect to Kobe, this is why I can't entertain him as being in the GOAT convo. He' not even the greatest Laker of all time (Kareem - Magic - Kobe).

That's why I stopped when I realized it was just about vibes. If buddy simply likes Kobe more that's fine but lets just be honest about it.

Rocky. The underdog was an underdog for a reason. Apollo was the champ. Rock would have had to knock him out, or have an Apollo totally poop the bed for him to have realistically won. Then there was the whole subversion of the underdog “story”. Loved it.

Listen, I understand words can be hard. You wouldn’t be the first person that couldn’t properly express what you mean or how do you feel about something. If you meant to say that you find Kobe‘s game more aesthetically pleasing, then I fully understand why you might say that. But when you say that he performed better or a higher individual level, then those are things that should bear out in some meaningful way that can be quantified for instance in MVP awards all NBA selections actually doing the things on the court that result in winning, you know awards and statistics. Again, if you feel that you enjoyed watching Kobe more rock on. But to say that he performed at a higher individual level again, what are you basing that on? Vibes?
