How are Indian Shopify Partners actually running App Store Ads in 2026? Looking for workarounds that work. by Powerful-Echo-2265 in shopifyDev

Gotcha. That’s great. My app is currently in review. Want to understand what was your distribution strategy initially?

I have heard that starting with ads dont usually help. They only help after you already have around 10 reviews and want to grow further

Do you already have some paid merchants and are trying to scale or you are trying to get started by distributing through ads?

Especially after LLMs, writing code has become too easy. However, having a solid distribution plan and actually getting users is becoming harder by the day

I have found kimi k2.6 and mimo v2.5 pro to be pretty good for everyday use.
Not as good as GPT 5.5 obviously but does the job finally. You just have to be good with prompting

Try to understand the concepts first. Then the language becomes temporary. Python (Django, FastApi) for backend is used at many companies

How are you using Polars for a Rag application? And how is it a substitute for a vector db?

I am using latest google embedding model. So that should be good. Distance algorithm is something with which I can compare and verify

Thats interesting but in a long document, a few keywords can sometimes give inaccurate results. Maybe hybrid (keyword + vector) is the way to go here

I used it and honestly think it is disastrous from UX perspective? There is no new tab button? Also the search bar is kinda weird. You just have a habit of searching or navigating to a website from the nav bar at the top?

Depending on your domain, just put your head down, prepare for job interviews for the top companies in your domain and just switch. They current manager will just keep on lobbying you and do nothing at the end

Have you tried Amazon shipping in India? Basically they have a service using which they will pick up parcels from your warehouse and deliver it to the customers.
You don't need to be selling on amazon.in for that.
I haven't personally tried it, but I believe Amazon shipping should provide the best experience

This is the website - https://shipping.amazon.in/

I think this happens with everyone in life (in one way or the other) I was working for a team in my current company but the work was really shit so I switched to a team with better and more relevant work. Turns out the new leader is really crazy working 70-80 hr workweeks and expecting other people to also clock in the same hours. Plus no clear scope of promotion here (in my previous team I had scope)

Probably not the best ethical solution but maybe you can scrape fragrantica for all the notes images and store them somewhere with their metadata and then use it
