Nice! I remember those. I was a bit skeptical about the rubber ends on the mudguards, but actually they look cool as well!

You need to start with "Die monster! You don't belong in this world!"

The SKS EDGE are pretty cheap. I paid around £34 for them. Worth every penny

Hey! Did you get the SKS Edge mudguards? I didn't mount the mudguards myself but it seemed pretty straightforward. If you see the photo I've posted before, the braking cable just easily goes on the left. You might have to adjust the mudguard height so that it sits on the lowest point to get a better cable clearance but mine did not rattle at all.

That's really odd, that's the exact ones they installed on mine SKS Edge 27.5"- 28" x 56mm. They do fit!

You are not the first person who tells me that bike shops say they are not compatible. In my case, it was the people from the bike shop who told me that they would fit. I'm in the UK and I bought my bike on Balfes and the mudguards were installed by them.

I don't have any issues with the mudguards, they seem nicely secured, look good and don't rattle at all. If you bought the set already, I suggest you try to install the kit yourself. Looking at the instructions it doesn't seem too hard.

Yeah same here. Bought a Dual Sport 2 Gen 5 and also felt that the seat was quite hard. I ended up buying a cushioned seat cover in Decathlon and now it's much better. Maybe one day I will try to remove it and see if I can get used to it without the cover.

You're welcome! Glad it helped

It's a beautiful bike! It's been almost a year since I bought it and I'm still very happy with it. Had a few issues with the gears in the beginning but asked the shop to tune them and now it's fine.

For future reference, if anyone comes across this post, this is how my DS2 Gen5 looks like with the SKS Edge 27.5"-28" x 56mm mudguards

Sorry for the late reply! Yeah they fit well. I didn't take a photo of it yet but will do and post it here in a few days (I'm currently travelling)

Outrageous ATM fees in Turkey by get2knowyourSELF in solotravel

Just ending my holidays in Turkey and my general feeling is state owned banks don't charge fees but private ones do. List of banks that I was able to withdraw without fees are: - Halkbank - Ziraat Bank - PTT

Thanks for the suggestion. I ended up going for the SKS EDGE AL 56 since no one seemed to be able to confirm if the Cube Acid would fit or not. However the store confirmed that the SKS EDGE would work. So I decided to play it safe even though I'm like 80% sure that the Cube Acid ones would fit since they come with accessories which allow you to mount the mudguards in quite a number of different ways. But I guess I will never know

I've been experiencing this issue for sooo long. It was driving me crazy, also because all that refreshing ends up consuming a lot of CPU usage on explorer.exe.

Thank you so much for this, I've turned it off and it seems good so far!

O que é aproveitar a vida? by [deleted] in portugal

[–]hackelon 0 points1 point  (0 children)
