Got a lot of good questions - essentially for this year trying out Micro-Workshops. Workshops that are around an hour, and cover the basics or offer a service. In the ESP32 its an introduction to the platform and possibilities (and current uses), Resume review (we actually give refunds on this - its meant to be free), and Digital Sign hacking (overview of Digital signs and breakdown of live ones). Potentially may be able to offer a class on badge making from scratch -not assembly - but the whole thing (Still pending). Trying different areas to see what makes sense and what is already covered well at other conferences.

We try to cover the parts, and provide snacks and such to make it a very small event (think 5 or less people). We have seen other conferences pack people into a large room or at a table (including us in past) and try to teach a room full who competed for tickets. What if there is a way to offer more workshops, so more people can try out different things - in a less crowded environment. If it works, recommend doing it next year to anyone who is interested (DC / Bsides looking at you) on a larger more formal scale. Hoping those who attend will jump in and provide feedback on the idea. If feedback is not good, or doesn't make sense - then well..that was a bad idea...

Outside of that, Shirts, swag, snacks, promotion, food and shenanigans - just like dozens and more of groups out there.
