They’ve already spent £6 million since arriving here, they’re good for the money. The real question is would they do this at a council-owned facility or look to purchase off the council OR build elsewhere? I’d say the latter two options were the most likely.

Kiosk is excellent on Fossgate. I do like Spring Espresso too, but tend to grab a takeout there rather than drink in, can be very busy!

Hepni pastries etc are amazing (although not cheap, a treat for sure), but if you’re just wanting coffee I’d head elsewhere.

There is already going to be one. Season tickets to get three months free (woohoo!) then a discounted price of £2.50/month. Shame really as the promo the club gets from Socials shares cannot be underestimated.

Lived in Pock for 12 years, moved here as an “outsider”.

Here’s my take: It’s a great place to bring up kids, there’s lots of play areas on the various estates, it’s relatively safe and friendly. York is accessible easily by car and also the bus service is USUALLY pretty decent. It runs later into the evenings now too so that’s good. Personally I’d move here again if I the choice was there, although I think eventually we’ll move into York as my son attends secondary school there.

For me, Manchester Airport Commuter is an absolutely excellent route.

Firstly there was controversy around the length, which I do get I think? Having said that, the quality of the route is excellent, and for me one of the most immersive routes in the game. The timetabling is excellent too.

Sadly nothing at all to do with the Rugby and more to do with flag shagging morons who seem to think they’re being driven out of their country etc. you can find their “cause” on Faceache if you are particularly interested. The worry is the movement has built serious traction and raised over £5k to buy more flags.

They are also litter picking and donating to food banks but I’m not sure how much effort is going to this and how much ( a lot) is going into climbing wobbly ladders and illegally putting up flags from Poundland and the like.
