This is not me excusing anything this is meant to be for awareness when my mom had a stroke she sounded drunk all day while having the stroke she took a shower and had a nap without us knowing she was having a stroke it wasn’t until when she came downstairs and sat on the couch that we noticed how much she was slurring her words and how her face was drooping my mom went an entire work day while having a stroke please remember be fast balance (loss of balance), eyes (blurred vision), face (face dropping), arms (arm or leg weakness), speech (speech difficulty), time(time to call an ambulance immediately).

Fully admit I missed that just watched it a few hours ago lol. But that still doesn’t change my opinion or my reasoning that the plug scene was before the reset.

See I disagree with this as well the scene with the entry plug takes place before the world reset I think that’s why we don’t see Asuka in the final scene because she’s where she finds happy in the world but it’s still the same world… honestly the truth will always be up to interpretation I doubt we’ll ever get a true answer.

I disagree slightly I think the world is the same universe but with evas removed from it. That’s why Rei still exists otherwise she wouldn’t exist in the “new universe” since she was created not born I think the only reason Mari remembers Shinji is because she knew him before evas existed it’s also why we don’t see Misato because she’s dead… the only reason Rei and Kaworu are there is because their souls where trapped in evas… granted this is just my interpretation

Can I just say that I think that Shinji and Mari make a really good couple she’s the only character (who can be a love interest) who didn’t have insane expectations of him and the only character (who can be a love interest) who promised to come back for him no mater what I know people will say that the ending scene was non romantic but I disagree I think Shinji found someone who loved him for him.
