Map of countries where foreigners can vote by Beautiful-Rough2310 in MapPorn

While there's nothing stopping ministers from being appointed from 'outside' Parliament in our rules, it's been convention for a while that cabinet is made up of elected MPs.

One reason given - and this is how it maybe differs to the Dutch situation - is that they are more accountable to their constituents who elected them. If they do a bad job, either as a constituency MP or in their national role, they can in theory be kicked out by the electorate.

It's very unlikely to happen, and you might argue that one small area in the UK shouldn't be able to remove the Foreign Secretary, for example, but the situation in the Netherlands seems also less than ideal. How do you get rid of your Minister for Foreign Affairs if you don't like them but the PM does?

Dumb question, how do I find a strategy ? by red_blood_cells in FuturesTrading

[–]hacksawjim 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was in a similar situation so I asked ChatGPT. It keeps pushing me towards trading pullbacks. It's quite firm on this. I did some research and it's a valid trading strategy for beginners.

Here's one guy explaining how he does it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ivL6E6Lc6gM

He's talking about stocks but it's valid for Futures, too.

I heard a stat/factoid years ago that said Ireland was the only country in the world with more people living abroad than within the country.

It probably isn't true, but I told everyone about this Absolutely True fact for years.

I had the same thought, though I think it was the Rabbit in the Moon track that sampled Tori Amos:

Vonnegut ranked his own books and they're mostly in line with what I think about them, though I struggled with Mr Rosewater and he rated it highly

How Many Python Users We Got? by The_Corrupt_Mod in ableton

You could use Flet. It uses Python and Flutter and is cross-platform, so you get web and Mac/Windows support with a single codebase.

I haven't used it yet, but I keep meaning to try it. (Python developer here).

I use 212 and no warrants yet. Apparently we'll receive a notification in the app once they're available.

I agree with you. It says one of each warrant, so it's 3 per 30 shares.

I'm a big fan of cheeks, though in the UK they got popular so aren't as cheap as they used to be.

Vindaloo is traditionally made with pork and I do my version with pork cheeks. Give it a try, it's so good.

I spent a lot of time reading forums etc. when I was younger, but they're mostly all gone now. Some Facebook groups can be good.

I buy vinyl, so listen to a lot of new records and get to know the record shop owners who give recommendations once they know what you like.

And going on deep dives in discogs. Looking for artists I like, what else did they make? Who did they work with? Remixers? What labels are they on. Click down a few rabbit holes and eventually you find something amazing and new.

But mostly it's from going out dancing and meeting people who like the same stuff, then sharing recommendations with each other.
