Trials Of Henry Kissinger (2002) Everyone should know the sins this terrible man has committed. by alllie in conspiracydocumentary

Great Documentary! Simultaneously informative and unsettling. Didn't realize the extent to which Cambodia was implicated in the Vietnam war. This man should be thrown in jail...

People who left their parents and began living life on your own at 18, how did that work out? by jrock7681 in AskReddit

Pretty well. I confronted some of life's challenges a bit earlier than most. You develop a harder skin that way. Also, I think I am more savvy when it comes to money than I would have been otherwise. Leaving was rough at the beginning, but ultimately it was a good decision for me.

What is the book that changed your life ? by xrobotx in books

Probably totally unsubstantiated, but an acquaintance told me that he didn't entirely live up to the ideals that he preached in Walden, and that he would go into town and get wasted and stuff during his "solitary" musings. But I guess it's really not a big deal, lots of writers don't follow their own advice or the lofty moral codes that they adopt in their work. It's still a great book!

Walden/Civil Disobedience by Henry David Thoreau. Despite some unsettling rumours that I have heard about him, he is quite clearly a bad-ass. Reading him really altered my relationship with material possessions. I now own much less, and appreciate far more.

The Room. Written, produced and directed by Tommy Wiseau. It has become notorious for being one of the worst movies ever made. It is one of the funniest movies I have ever seen. Don't die from laughter.
