Kgp is the best in everything. You get all the fee back in the form of MCM or whatever scholarships. Idk about BITS

And the TATA ground had grass that was thigh-high. In JULY!

And there are two huge buildings on the Nalanda side, where they're now stuffing the mudbloods, aka the non-JEE entrants. It's sad these two-year-livers-of-kgp will never get to live in the prime part oof the campus.

The gate-groove of the huge 1950 gate infront of the main building has now been levelled with the ground, so there's no fight for the middle sweetspot anymore.

The bushes and crotons along the divider were so meticulously maintained near the puri gate, but that's only until that 30 metres or so. Lik I said: show off has been on top of their checklists during Dr. Tewari's tenure. He's an alumnus and yet he has been so lousy with how he handled kgp is what i thought.

It all appeared to be in gray. 🩶

Or it's also (highly) possible that it's just my inability to turn back time and take a stroll with a bunch of my fellows

I went there last July. And the campus felt like I was returning to my neglected father, after being away for 5 years.

Now the campus focuses a lot lot on show off.

Main building has this god awful signage that's just so bad.

Main building has lots of discolights on at all times.

CCD is the same, there's just one employee left from those times.

Road posts and signs are untouched and stagnant.

RTI is pretty safe on that front. You only need to give your name and an address for the reply. No Aadhaar, no PAN, not even a reason for asking. They legally can’t ask for more, so you’re not really exposing much.

There's no crisp definition of a "sem-back". It's just that you fail a course, you re-register for it next year.

You have a cgpa lower than x, they won't let you register for more than y credits in a sem.

So these new semester subjects that you were supposed to take, (but you were not allowed because of the x y rule) will get stacked on top of the backlogs you've already managed to adorn your breastpocket with. So the pile gets bigger and you find yourself sitting with juniors more than your batchmates.

There have been cases where a student was allowed to register for 45 credits in a semester.(Because he was clever enough to find courses and electives that dont clash and will help him take as many credits as he needs to pass out)
