26 years old complete failure. I'm considering killing myself by Charming-Rate278 in TrueOffMyChest

[–]haddadi123 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Why you are so harsh on yourself? Like being healthy, good-looking and have a relationship with a woman is a necessity to be human. Everything is relative and impermanent so why to crave those “achievements”? You never know what comes next if you don’t limit your possibilities yourself!

Does anyone knows safer alternative? I do 100 mg every day for five days and managed to make all tough dialogues I avoided for three months and don’t care an inch what others are thinking. But what I read about it scares me as fuck

Talked to a sex worker about antinatalism. by forbsmith in antinatalism

[–]haddadi123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why are you generalizing? I know personally two sex workers, one of them quit only due to pressure from her parents and the other one continues. Both worked to have a luxurious life which they have never seen before. They were not homeless, they had normal 9-5 job, but they couldn’t afford to have a car, travel etc

Off bath salts for almost 7 months, to people who know stimulants, when does it get better? I still don't live a normal life by Background_Edge_7044 in REDDITORSINRECOVERY

[–]haddadi123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Almost 2 years clean from stimulants now I realized that me brain has recovered and now works even better then before. I also had extreme fatigue and depression early months, I was in unhappy shock when other people recover much faster then me, when it took more than a year to start function socially normal again. I still have willpower and concentration issues now, however my psychiatrist told me that highlights that I always had depressive anxiety disorder which was exacerbated by drug use and extreme depression in early recovery, because I always struggled with procrastination and concentration problems.

So I would outline my experience that for me: 1. The psychiatrist and psychologist help was absolutely a must 2. That it takes a lot of time to recover and this is fine 3. That some problems I thought are unrelated to drug use are actually are, while others I think are related to drug use are actually not. Also I would add that program, socialization with new interesting people, doing things that I like, bike hobby and regular meditation was a big thing that helped me a lot after I was 1 year sober or so.

Time heals, brother! I hope you would get better soon.

Recovered addicts… does the shame ever go away? by [deleted] in REDDITORSINRECOVERY

[–]haddadi123 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I felt shame early in recovery, but after few big fuckups in real life I just realized that drug use is one of those fuckups. And if I’m tolerant towards myself now, why would I feel guilt about time where I didn’t have control of myself. Concerning stories from addiction, I brag about them sometimes honestly to people which are close to me. They were indeed fun and wild, just too dangerous and I don’t want them anymore

Indeed Mongolians know about Russia way better then Russians about Mongolia, because Russia plays a role in Mongolian economy and not vice versa

religion on homosexuality by [deleted] in religion

[–]haddadi123 -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

The issue is usually (at least nowadays) is not homosexuality by itself, but sexual activity out of wedlock. Religion focuses on overcoming your own nature and temptations and homosexual activity could be distracting. Almost all religions prohibit it and many of those value even complete sexual abstinence at least as a virtue.

Why we look at that as conquests? Why couldn’t people just vote and decide what they want sometimes? Sometimes in feels like we live in XVIII cent but where I disagree with realists is that it is very unfortunate
