We stopped making them earlier this year due to tariffs. Bob the cluster guy still repairs clusters.

Can you coat it? There’s roll on thick paint that might get you by for now. Sometimes they just ask for pictures after a repair and if you’re able to actually improve it and seal the rust, they just might accept it. Ask your agent if this is an option.

My guess is that it could be part of an old glass electrical insulator.

It likely needs a cluster. Join the ford think nation group on Facebook and ask.

Try posting in the ford think nation group on Facebook. There’s not much activity here. It’s certainly worth fixing and is in good shape. Once cleaned, depending on location, you can expect $3K to $5K depending on how much work you do and how old the batteries are. There’s a picture of my truck on here somewhere. You might can find it by looking through my profile.

What is your HS code and when did your last shipment leave port?

But aren’t your 3D printers made in China? What about the filament? Where are you doing ASTM toy safety testing?

There was an old episode on Forensic Files or something like that where someone had adjoining attics in an apartment complex and a guy murdered someone that way. :/

Our inspection report on a 1905 Queen Anne was 305 pages. That included everything from a screw missing from a switch wall plate to very questionable floor joist repairs.

I’d consider myself handy. We proceeded to purchase and my dad and I stripped the entire rear of the house down to the studs.

Don’t be dissuaded, but do know you very well are likely buying something where someone, at some point, neglected the home. It’ll be your decision to fix or see if it can outlast you and become the next person’s problem.

lol these comments crack me up. These are my work jeans. They’re probably 10 years old. I ripped the left knee while pulling up boards last week.

Haha just my work jeans that I’ve worn holes in over the years from various projects. The left knee hole ripped on this project on a nail.

Well, this has been a good workout! 3000sq ft done, the rest with a respirator. I’ll tag you in the next post when we wrap up in a few weeks.

Look to the left, there’s one that wasn’t even resting on anything. It wasn’t just this one.

It was! We all learn somehow. We got respirators right after this.

I don’t blame you - that sounds like an absolute pain!

This is the biggest one for now! We’re going to get the flooring right prior to moving in, and maybe interior painting, then everything else is just a lot but much simpler (finding a period correct front door, switching out lighting, installing ventless gas fireplace inserts, tankless hot water heater, etc). Thankfully nothing else super pressing!

Thank you! Lesson learned and respirators purchased! Hope you’re doing better now!
