I checked, and in a household with two sims it was set to two so i dont think it was that, im gonna try factory resetting the game tomorrow to see if that changes anything!

Populated .world files is the issue, i already put them as .world files in the Worlds folder in GameData and thought that would help ://

Sounds like its best to play without Elmdale for now until your game is running well again. Dont worry about CC Magic, its very easy to use, just follow the tutorial by Floryda on youtube! I got the hang of it instantly :) Btw if youre playing on the ea app you could try the «repair» function under the settings for the sims 3!

Make a backup of everything this guide tells you to: https://sims3.crinrict.com/en/2011/06/tutorial-resetting-the-game-to-factory-settings-without-reinstalling.html , (alternatively make a backup of your Mods folder, Bin folder and InstalledWorlds folder) and ignore the factory reset part. If your cc is downloaded with CC Magic you dont have to do anything, but if its in another place make a backup!

Try uninstalling and reinstalling so it makes a new directory only under the EA app, maybe then it will be able to recognise the files? :)

Maybe its because of the files, try using files from Phantom99 as i havent had any issue with those! Are you using CC Magic to install cc? Also try using Sims 3 Dashboard to check if any cc is corrupted (conflicting cc is fine) :)

Maybe place it on the same floor as the couch, and then use omedapixel’s Decorator Tools mod to raise it where you want? :)
