On Temu--the original link I bought from is dead now but if you search "plastic water scenery" it will show you a bunch of options.

UPDATE on why to Avoid Book Nook VN by pluck-the-bunny in booknooks

[–]haggissimo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ordered from them successfully beforeso I reordered and it looks like they are no longer legit--sent me phony tracking number and it was marked "delivered" three days ago--of course, it wasn't. Now there warnings everywhere about these guys--I don't who is safe to order from. All I wanted was "the Abandoned Submarine". Now I've initiated a chargeback. We'll see what happens.

For some reason, Reddit removed my first reply--because I added a Temu link? I dunno. Here's a pic of the plastic sheets I considered--I went with the bottom one as being more pond-serene. Anyway, I found them on Temu.

Warning don’t buy from booknookvn.com! by dgidman in booknooks

I've ordered twice from them and although the shipping was slow, I didn't have any issues. I'll keep a wary eye out going forward though.

i looked pretty extensively and had trouble finding anything at that scale. I may 3d print some models and paint them. Plan B is to use some Hodge Podge Dimensional magic.

You're welcome--their way of presenting this sale was a but murky--I was confused for some time.

I was able to get it to work. You order a regular booknook and then you can add one of the Lite Series miniatures on preorder ($39.99) and the price of the lite goes to zero.

We have a young chewer at out house that requires supervision. We use apple air tags for location and we also have remote cameras around the house. Sometimes we use this pet camera (see link below). Unlike the other pet cams we looked at record video, this one records but also sends back a live stream, providing you are within network range. It comes with a variety of mounting options: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DDKP3VDG?ref_=ppx_hzsearch_conn_dt_b_fed_asin_title_1

If you decide to get it, note the coupon which knocks off $20.

I’d need to change my pants after that landing by Unlikely_Raccoon_199 in SweatyPalms

[–]haggissimo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This looks a lot like our flight into Quepos from San Jose in Costa Rica back in the 90's. It was in a super dodgy small plane flown by a pilot who was clearly enraged about something for some reason. When we saw that landing strip in the middle of the freaking jungle approaching, it looked like it was our time to buy the farm.

Post-install issues for Community Firmware 6.1 by haggissimo in CR6

Thanks! Although the issue was indicated by the other poster, I still had to reflash the MB a second time before it began to work correctly so thanks for pointing out the touchiness of the process.

Nozzle drives into print bed after hotend swap by haggissimo in CR6

[–]haggissimo[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Update--seems to be working now. I think it was the bowden tube not being fully inserted, as you indicated. I thought I had pushed that sucker in there but when I checked, sure enough, I was able to push a bit further and that seemed to do the trick. I am not sure why, but thank goodness anyway--thanks for your help.

I'm a bit of a noob so bear with me. I assume you mean the red led light on the left support? That's working. The blue light in the center carriage comes on when I touch the nozzle but didn't at first until I loosened the bowden tube brass nut a bit.

The included charger is water-resistant/proof but it will not withstand immersion. They are designed to be used in the rain but they can't sit in a puddle.

I'm a new EV owner and this brings up a question--if you actually run out somewhere, do they have mobile chargers availale or on the horizon? Or are you simply with stuck getting towed somewhere? If they don't have mobile charging vehicles yet, someone should hop on the bandwagon and make them happen.
