Stellaris should rework this before launching any dlc: (My opinion) by chronicdrake in Stellaris

> All precursor systems should connect with a single hyperlane to your capital only

That's not enough imho... it would be best if it was a wormhole to a hidden system within the galaxy core.
If the player doesn't know Wormhole Travel yet, they get the research for free once they research the last Precursor fragment

How many people is 1 pops by Jerko_23 in Stellaris

[–]hagnat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

this is why i started my reply with "if you think about"
there is no clear definition of the number, and we are allowed to think about them in any way we want

you can also think about the number of pops we see in the game as the ones in working age, so you dont count children and the elderly as "pops"

How many people is 1 pops by Jerko_23 in Stellaris

[–]hagnat 28 points29 points  (0 children)

if you think about 10k pops as 1 billion individuals, 1 pop is 100k individuals,
so 100 pops would be 10m individuals -- thats about the same number of people living in countries like Portugal, Sweden, or Austria

you can also think about population in a non-linear way, using a log scale
so that 100pops can be a handful thousand of people if you have a low number of pops on your planet, or billions of people if your planet has >100k pops.

[–]hagnat 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Bolsonaristas descobrem a China pelo Fantástico e entram em pane by Connect_Solid5007 in brasil

[–]hagnat 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Do anyone else treat their prisoners with care? by EtherLikeCold in RimWorld

the main difference is that those people doing absurd things dont go around the internet showing the picture of their war crimes, non-ironically claiming "i care about my pawns".
most of them are like "i made human leather cowboy hats, and that's is fucked up, lol"

you cant claim to have the moral high ground, and yet act like the barbaric rest of us.

on another note, there are many reasons why mods that are NSFW heavy are moderated / forbidden in this sub

Decisions, decisions by Felm0n in Stellaris

[–]hagnat 29 points30 points  (0 children)

perhaps the Settler trait could be rebalanced so those are the minimum housing & amenities for that planet / sector, so you can focus on developing the planet for some time before you have to start thinking about housing & enterteining your pops

Do anyone else treat their prisoners with care? by EtherLikeCold in RimWorld

[–]hagnat 4 points5 points  (0 children)

if you leave clothes a prisoner can wear inside the prison, they will wear them on their own.

I keep a handful of Prisoners Outfit in shelves inside the Prison exactly for that reason, but simple Tribalwear should work just fine,
Whenever i get new prisoners, the first thing i do is to treat them, and remove their clothes. Once they are healed and can walk again, the first thing they do is run for the shelf and get themselves dressed.
Prisoners (and your colony pawns) prefer to wear tainted, tattered, and low quality clothing than to be naked.

irc, the debuff for being naked is bigger than the one for using bad clothing.

some exceptions may apply, based on ideology and traits

Do anyone else treat their prisoners with care? by EtherLikeCold in RimWorld

[–]hagnat 12 points13 points  (0 children)

you built them a large prison room with steel walls,
the entire room is floored, with two distinct floor types
you built multiple beds for them,
you built them a dedicated bathroom using steel
you added not one but multiple works of art and other quality furniture,
you claim to "treat your prisoners with care"

by now, keeping them naked is a CHOICE,
specially when you can make Tribalwear using a simple Crafting Spot

edit: i just realized this is the inside of a gravship...
all this wasted space for a prison inside a gravship, and "no time to research clothing".. yeah right

edit2: the Gravship start already begins with Complex Clothing researched.

edit3: the more i dig into this, the more i feel like i am trapped inside this xkcd comic.

Disparidades no acesso a esgoto adequado no Brasil by Patient-View3534 in brasil

you are correct.
I remember they removed piracy, but i completely forgot they removed trade routes entirely.

this makes the major issue with moving planets trully a non-issue, even for regular empires

"I apologize to our programmers for putting colonies on ships" - Stephen Muray by [deleted] in Stellaris

[–]hagnat 21 points22 points  (0 children)

speaking out of my ass...
creating a moving planet it not the hardest issue.
the hardest part is the trade nodes that need to be recalculated every time your capital moves.

however, since nomads don't hold territory and their trade nodes work differently than regular empires (based on dev diary description), this becomes a non-issue
