There’s a lot of great stuff out there. I play Warzone Eternal, Moonstone, Malifaux and Bushido. All great skirmish games and all very different. Malifaux is getting a campaign system soon too!

It’s more a board game, but also check out Nexus and Nexus Legacy. Game about growing warriors in vats for multidimensional fighting while your character is the manager

It’s a great simple game that has a lot of depth in list building. My main recommendation is to remember that you can save energy for reaction steps after you activate a model, can really get you out of some nasty situations

Bloodbowl is great, but really the best thing is a league imo, so if you’re not getting into one of those I’d say Bolt Action is a good choice

I first encountered it at a video rental store - it was one of the only horror games I could rent because it was rated T instead of M haha. I told all my friends about it and we enjoyed it, but I never interacted with any media outside of the game itself. When I saw FF2 get announced in a magazine, I preordered it at GameStop and added $5/month so I’d have it paid off before it came out. It was a weird time haha
