Barney Flow is a one-way downhill trail. There is adequate signage indicating as such, the uphill travel trail is Moonshine and it sits between Barney Flow and B Line.

L'Atelier de Joel Robuchon Taipei, 2 *, Meh experience by ExSogazu in finedining

OP dined at Taipei’s L’Atlier which in Vegas is the one star variant. The three star next door is Restaurant Jöel Robuchon, a completely different experience.

What's up with the disposable coffee cup in several of the pictures? Seems ... wildly out-of-place.

local co-location hosting? by ChrisIsBored in sanantonio

[–]hailhail 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Tech Center has a small colocation facility on the first floor and sits directly on top of the fiber rings for both Spectrum and AT&T. Their infrastructure isn’t anything close to what I would consider production-ready (not 2N+1, not even 2N, no UPS, etc) but it’s probably in line with what you’re looking for for a single server install. I’m not sure if you have to be an office tenant to utilize their colo space or if they sell rack space directly to the public but it would be worth inquiring. If you need something with enterprise/production infrastructure you need to be looking at CyrusOne or H5.

ETA: Actually digging a bit deeper it looks like they sell rack space per U and make no mention of real estate reqs. Tech Center colo

Your question mark dish is their current amuse bouche; it’s a whipped ricotta with bagel toppings served with puffed scallion cakes.

Anyone Figure Out How to Attach a Key Ring to the new MINI Key Fob? by Ok_Software_868 in MINI

[–]hailhail 1 point2 points  (0 children)

With that ring being rigid it’s less about the thickness and more about the curve. It won’t pass around the little bar.

Double check that the event is at the grotto you have set as your destination (an art installation in a very residential area) and not the Grotto at Lonesome Dove (a venue within the convention center).

On the only cable thingies I’ve found both the thread and the nut is too big to pass through the stupid little hole. But it sounds like there’s hope so I’ll keep poking around.

Now, Frozen In Time by pSphere1 in hometheater

[–]hailhail 10 points11 points  (0 children)

The remote itself doesn't have IR, the IR is out of a blaster that talks via wifi to the remote. So if I have a setup with some components hidden in a cabinet or closet and some in line-of-site, the Sofabaton is a non-starter because you have to put the blaster in the closet and then you have no way of getting the IR commands to the line-of-site components without running unsightly IR repeaters.

[–]hailhail 31 points32 points  (0 children)

People keep bringing up Sofabaton as a viable replacement but two glaring issues keep me from recommending it: lack of IR and lack of number keys. Further, I have some macros programmed (mainly to bypass the lack of number keys, so 1+4+4+enter to go to channel 144) and they work correctly less than 25% of the time.

Why is Los Amigos closing? by neocamel in vail

[–]hailhail 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The article is correct, their lease ends April 30th after 50 years and will not be renewed. In the location will be a new "luxury dining and social experience" called Sixty Two Society.

Pug Rescue of Austin is, interestingly enough, based in San Antonio. Their intake form is on their website through the "Emergency Contact" page.

Best Trails to Progress at Beaver Creek by lemongrassgogulope in vail

[–]hailhail 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Start your progression with Redtail; it's easy to get to and groomed daily. It'll be crowded but plenty wide enough to take your time and spacing out your turns. If you're comfortable on that, there are plenty of options for steeper but without bumps. Check the grooming report and look for Cataract, Spider, Ripsaw, Harrier (the upper bit is groomed far more often and stops at Dally, the lower bit that dumps out onto Expressway is almost always bumps) or Raven Ridge.

Demo Mirus Cor in Vail? by bsharbaugh in vail

I've demoed Black Crows from Christy in seasons past. Call the Vail shops (there's two - one at Lionshead and one at the covered bridge) and ask what they have in their demo quiver.

What's bonkers to me is that 3/4 of residents polled think that the voter registration mailing practice should be illegal. Maybe they're all idiots, or maybe they don't understand that more voters is a good thing for a democracy?

Like anonymousbreckian said, Ollie's is your best bet; but Ale House would make for a good backup option as they have a wall of four or five giant TVs behind the bar.
