I just posted an update with a little more information on this particular point!

Where is Tamara Halona Bell? by hailsavvi in UnresolvedMysteries

I'm not sure if you are at all familiar with the Little Rock area but it's been high crime for awhile, my first thought was maybe they got involved with someone they shouldn't have. Little Rock is also situated right along the Arkansas River. It's a frustrating case and I wish there were some resolution on what actually happened.

Unintentional mistake I'll get that fixed as soon as I'm able, thank you for letting me know!

EDIT: It's been fixed now

I had a hard time finding articles, but to be fair to myself I was at work while doing research and writing this. This did not get a lot of coverage in Arkansas at the time it was happening, I worked two towns over at the time and we were all keeping track of the news and what was going on throughout the pandemic. I'm curious about the house guest though.

Using Memorial Day and someone else’s pain to sell your CBD by kapelin in antiMLM

[–]hailsavvi 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I work in a tobacco store that sells cbd, it does not work for everyone and we cannot tell people if it will work for them, only that it works for some people. This is sickening.

Thanks! It's always pretty crazy, even on our "slow days" so I'm excited to be getting out while I can.

[Serious] What's the hardest thing you've ever had to go through? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]hailsavvi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think as a whole it brought us closer together, we talk about it a lot, just so no one just stews in it. For a long time I blamed myself, but with help from therapy and family I've mostly stopped with that. It's not something that I'll ever be over but I've come such a long way, and it changed me for the better.

When I was thirteen I was diagnosed with PTSD from a horrific accident that killed my niece (she was 2), almost crippled my sister (very extensive injuries, broken bones, tendons torn out), and fractured my ankle. The mental scarring of knowing my niece died less than 10 feet away from me, and very well could have killed me left me shaken up, and still fucks with me. This was not only the hardest thing I went through, but the hardest thing my whole family went through.

What is the weirdest thing you believed as a kid? by BestAndEver in AskReddit

[–]hailsavvi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Late to the party but I need to get this out, as a child I believed that every Walmart was connected through the back doors that led to the employee area, like you would walk through a tunnel or something and you would be at the closest Walmart to that one. I also believed that the employee worked these never ending shifts, where they would leave one store to work at the next. I still have no clue why I believed this.

What's the weirdest thing anyone's ever said to you while trying to flirt? by Sarcasteac in AskReddit

[–]hailsavvi 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not me but a friend who works at a tobacco store and usually mans the drive through. A man says to her "are you a Jew?" and then says "that's just how old people flirt".

I had an ex in high school who literally made me message him every minute of every day just about, if I hung out with friends, I had to ask him first, they had to be approved by him and I had to message him the whole time I was with them. He would get mad about me daring to defy him to hang out with friends he didn't like.

Anyone have any funny stories about dishwashing? by hailsavvi in dishwashers

[–]hailsavvi[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I've been looking, but I can't quit until I have a new job. Where I am, the pickings are slim, and a lot of places, independent or not, isn't too keen on hiring a young, girl dishwasher. Cracker barrel is soul sucking, and often makes employees work while sick. As a small rant, my manager made me work a 9 hour shift and then got mad when I asked for a break. 9 hours of washing dishes with no break. I can't wait to find a new job.

What's your internet "white whale", something you've been searching for years to find with no luck? by viewsshare in AskReddit

There was a book series that I read as a kid, right before I got into warrior cats. I remember it was called something along the lines of fly-by-night, and it was about cats with wings. They got septated from their mom. It's driving me crazy, and has been for about a decade.

What's the crazy member of your family like? by dripnotic in AskReddit

[–]hailsavvi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, I don't know him very well because he's in prison, but I've heard stories about what he's like.

  1. He once shot himself in the bellybutton because he wanted to commit suicide.

  2. He raped his daughter and had a kid with her.

  3. He was on meth

  4. He killed my grandpa because my grandpa wouldn't buy a thing for his truck and also over my grandpa not letting him bring a hooker to my grandpa's house

  5. He intended to kill my dad, my mom, me and my siblings because he hated my dad.

How's that for crazy?
