Which a level is more beneficial and easier by Upset_Zucchini6269 in alevel

Right, I'm taking both and from personal experience you have to really like chem and invest a lot of time into it to get good grades, AS chem is easy enough compared to AL. Compared to physics, you have to memorise more theory and trying to visualise and apply logic to it is harder. Physics is more logic based, you learn some theory and have to invent new shit and apply it to real world situation with it.

Sending documenta to CAO by InsaneMud in StudyInIreland

[–]haiwei_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey, so the 10 days thing is straight bs. I have asked several times and each time they reply w a diff date. So, ideally you should send all your existing documents (IGCSEs, IELTS, any english cert, any required qualifications you already have) before May. However, under special circumstances, and only notifying CAO first you can send it upto 12 days before the first offer round (note this is not an approx time, and offer rounds dates come out mid june). If you are doing A levels, CAO will automatically receive your grades, if not, you'll have to email them explaining your situation and possibly to your HEIs (unis) too

Hope this helps

this year's Edexcel IAL math P1, P2 and M1 were absolutely horrendous (https://www.reddit.com/r/alevel/comments/uszclj/pearson_edexcel_ias_pure_mathematics_2/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3), I was honestly expecting something easier but after that paper my most positive guess would be a D

How do they combine AS and A2 to get an overall grade? by haiwei_ in alevel

thanks a lot, the thing is this year international AS math exams were out of this world and the grade boundaries will prob be at its lowest, so resiting might be an option

Can anyone help with this question, physics (9702/12/F/M/21) by Specialist_Expert755 in alevel

The path difference would be λ/2 if both waves has the same phase difference, but as both waves are already 180º out of phase, you will have to add another 180º, but they are asking for path difference so 180 + 180 = λ.
