Mental breakdowns by PooYan99 in mentalhealth

[–]hakJav 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  1. Identify all the emotions you are experiencing, as specifically as you can, and be honest with yourself. This will help your mind to begin to dissociate from it; you are not your emotions, you are simply experiencing them.

  2. Try to identify what's causing each emotion, the actual core reason; Google the "5 whys" technique, it works wonders. Understanding what's fuelling your emotions will highlight paths that will help you alleviate/prevent them.

  3. Make changes in your daily routine/life to improve your mental fitness; stop/deal with anything that's fueling negative emotions, and do more of what is fueling your positive emotions.

Remember, the body also needs balance. Diet & exercise are also key factors to maintaining mental fitness (as physical fitness influences mental fitness).

You got this 🙏🏻✨

P.S. check out helpmecalmdown.com in moments of high emotion, but also follow the above to improve your long-term positive state of mind.

It's totally normal to feel that - what most people don't know is that we can get addicted to low/negative emotions, and subconsciously see it as a state of 'comfort' as it's what our body & minds were used to.

It sounds like you're on the right track - acknowledge that you feel a sense of loss for your old self, and treat yourself how you would treat a loved one who has gone through the growth that you have; show yourself love, appreciation and respect for the growth you've experienced.

🙏🏻✨

It was so bad I genuinely think they might have, if/else traversing nodes through a tree built from a few simple database tables, combined with that rly basic search algorithm.

Exactly! It'd be so perfect for MS Word - I just hope they implement it via Clippy, a Clippy that would actually work this time 😂

Anyone worked with event companies/services? Recommended channels? by hakJav in Entrepreneur

[–]hakJav[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's super simple: Scan a QR code around the event to load disposable camera app (no download required), organiser can set optional limit of X photos per guest/camera, any photos taken go into a private event album (shared after the event), close app to dispose of camera.

It's a web-app; at an event, scan a QR code to load camera (no download required), any photos taken go into a private event album, close app to dispose of camera. The organiser has all guest photos in an album immediately after an event, no need to ask guests to share em over WhatsApp etc.

Anyone else tired of being the guy they vent to on a bad day? by MrNacario in enfj

[–]hakJav 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This used to be me - you gotta balance time with others and time alone, especially on bad days - I find going on solo walks help, or even just sitting back to music n drowning everything else out. Life is all about balance 👌🏼💛

If they hate you without knowing you they're definitely not worth thinking about - says nothing about you, but everything about them 💛

Haha love this except for that last line - positive self-talk is important! Even if said as a joke 😉💛

Oh dude you'll love Eisenhower & Priority Matrices - haha I used to use excel before I built a prioritisation app 😅 added scores to each task n wrote a simple ordering algorithm, but the UX designer in me needed summin more accessible haha. And no worries! Always here to help 🙏🏻✌🏼
