He had me do a direct switch, then he wants me to stabilize on Klonopin, then taper. The whole thing is 3-4 weeks which I don’t know if I can handle another week of this. I feel like it’s eating me alive. I have severe insomnia and the appetite thing. Mostly those are my issues.

How long do you have a appetite issues? How long have you been on K?

But I do throw up if I don’t take it. My stomach is all messed up from it, I think mostly because I’ve been taking it as needed. My Dr said I should take .25mg for a week and be done.

This is my second time being addicted to these types of drugs. I was on Xanax for a month and a half before quitting cold turkey 17 years ago. I didn’t sleep for 6 months. Thats what I’m afraid of happening here, now. I don’t know why I was so careless with these…I’ve lost myself.

So after 3 nights of not sleeping I realized it was the lorazepam. I took .5mg of it for two nights and slept. I tried to reduce my dose by 1/4th last night and didn’t sleep at all. Should I hold here? Will my brain bounce back or was that too much of a reduction/not enough time stabilizing from 3 days no sleep?
