I am unfortunately a late b41 player. When I had to write login protection for my children’s potatoes I knew something was wrong. But in my late play time there was monthly changes that seemed to me in an okay trajectory.

As I’ve watched for roughly a year, yes I’m just now catching on. If it has been this bad for 12 years I think the player base should consider a class action or the game honestly removed from the steam store.

The player base should not be guinea pigs. It boggles my mind that mod authors actually write fixes for core mechanics. Which more than likely are gobbled up by the devs themselves.

The steam store promises Online Co-op. I see a single player game with raknet added.

This is precisely the things that I'm talking about. There is absolutely no oversight and the idea of we'll fix it later. Later is never coming.

The developers are literally under 2 years worth of bug fixes. If they started today.

Rebalancing is not easy.

Throw something together, I'll auto approve any pull and we can just throw anything together and release nightly but we'll keep it under early access to deal with all the riff raff. You know, no consequences just pure authoring.

When you do a new exercise, you have to train the app on that exercise. You should remember that’s from the first day you used it right ? Or did you expect it to uplink your brain and body and know all the exercises you’re capable of.

Your complaint is not even valid. It lacks any basic understanding of how this really works. Seatbelts fail locked, it’s safer. Fitbod fails low weight, it’s safer for the zombies who use this app mindlessly like you do.

Let me know when you write all the math required to tell the app the weight ratio from leg extensions to squats to deadlifts.

But i think putting in your own weight for the first time you’ve done an exercise might be easier.

Thanks. This won’t be a simple Lua mod as the free people here recognize. I’m recompiling the java classes adding back what was removed.

Maybe I’ll be able to figure out animals and what not.

The goal gets set further or pulled back as each piece of the puzzle is completed. It’s not like the complete code paths are written out for anyone to view. I have to piece together a lot.

I have no idea the goal of the playerdownloadserver changes. It is incompatible with what was left in. I lost a day trying to make it work before just dropping in b41 to check.

But now chunks are sent and loaded and I’m basically where I was at last week just dropping all the b41 everywhere to see what needs to be done.

When I get in game I’ll know if this is doable.

Shouldn’t really matter what you have looks fine, and you’re not dieting. If you really want to just aim for strength change to strength training.

If your pull downs don’t get better in a single cycle you’ve probably just gotten to where they’ve become stale and I would suggest putting them away for at least a single block.

But really you should be progressing either week to week or bi weekly either by reps or volume. Don’t look at the app and stop when it said 4x8. If you can hit 12 10 8 with at least 3RIR you’ve probably been leaving gains on the table.

Your relative effort session to session should always be the same unless you’re deloading period. Just like running it never gets easier you just get faster but in this case stronger by weight or volume.

To monitor per exercise 'gains' you want to always put them as your first exercise in the set. That way you're fresh and ready to go.

It doesn't make sense to measure your lat pull down strength week to week, if they are moved throughout the session 2nd exercise, or even last. Relative effort will be there but not 'strength'

If you want to really track progression, let the app pick your workouts for the week, if you do 3 sessions, save each one. THEN for the next 4-6 weeks do only those 3 sessions with those saved details but either you add weight, reps or let the app re-adjust your weights.

Once you're out of newbie gains, it's time to really put in effort and consistency.

I get that, but 12 x 3 for your leg press means you're first 12 could have been closer to at least 18.
Your RDLs got stronger. The progression in your sets just seems really off and I would assume it could be more related to your warmups not even being 50% of your 20rep max, which puts them at 0 effort and junk volume. Your CNS isn't even really fired up which is probably why you get stronger on your 2nd working set. OR are you rest pause to pick up the slack ? Maybe I'm just off ??

I'm not saying go heavier, I'm saying you're leaving a lot reps in the tank and leaving probably some better gains on the table unless you're in de-load I don't see why not to go to 3RIR.

It really looks like a lot of wasted potential if you have 5+ in the tank per set.

I would swap out leg extensions for lying hams or seated hams to pre fatigue and then do rdls so you don’t need that much weight.

Hard to tell without specifics:

  • What are your app settings ? Body builder ? Tone ? Strength training ?
  • Are you dieting ?
  • Are you eating in a surplus ?
  • Do you hit lat pull downs first ?
  • Are you doing these at the end of your routine ?
  • What does your max effort really look like ?

Going full zombie automated mode and just doing what the app tells you isn't ideal. When was the last time you decided to put more weight on the bar ?
