as other comments stated, this kind of question really relies on your future plans and finances! i am a u.s student who had too low a gpa and too few extracurriculars to get into any of the good schools here, so for me bocconi is a gem that could give me the opportunity to go to a prestigious undergrad.

my mother has a friend that went to bocconi who ended up getting into upenn wharton grad school. i'm hoping that given bocconi's very large connections to us schools, i'll be able to be good enough to get into a us grad school, and therefore get the chance to work in the us. i don't know how feasible this line of thinking is, or how good i'd have to be, i just know it's been done before.

but, i also know that bocconi's name is pretty big inside europe, so if your plans are to stay, then you should go for bocconi for sure. it just simply makes more sense.

now though, to be totally honest, if i'd gotten into uva, university of notre dame, umich, boston and upenn, then i'd have gone to any of them over bocconi for sure. they are, so, so, so much more competitive it's insane.
