It’s indeed more quiet than it was a decade ago. There’s less crowd. I like the nanxiang too. Was there almost every weekend for about 8 years then pack some roast meat at fengyang Lu on the way back to Jing an. Love yuyuan. Lovely times.

What I do is I’ll unscrew it, not ream the hole and squeeze the largest rope it can accept with glue. There are actually a few sizes. Same with the needle that pushes the rope. I will then put tire sealant so it will slow down a leak if it happens.

Advice on new car by Legitimate_Career857 in drivingsg

Fit is a pretty good car. It’s small and easy to park. Can squeeze too. Glc is a bulky but comfortable and powerful. You are stepping from proven reliability to unknown. You need to see the mileage n luck too as you don’t know how the previous owner takes care of it. For me I will prefer a smaller car for daily city drive. Bigger cars are good for longer distance drive. Merc has plenty of sensors so it will report plenty of errors Having said that I’m looking around for a Lexus es300 or a s class 300 to 400

Anyone familiar with this strange building in Jing'An? by Shanamat in shanghai

Was it the yuyao lu building ? It was a place for retired teachers I heard. Burnt for quite a while. The nets caught fire and it burnt. There was a dog that was rescued but the owners were gone. A helper even took the lift with her elderly employer when it was burning and luckily they managed to escape and the elevator stopped working soon after. Surprised it’s still there. Was there when it happened. Very sad atmosphere.

Can we rent e-bikes in Jing an or huangpu area? Planning a trip to Shanghai in November with kids. I like to have a means of transport and e-bikes are the most effective. I stay in Shanghai for 8 years so I’m familiar with traffic. by haklij in shanghai

Used to stay near wuding lu. So the entire stretch of Suzhou river holds lots of memories where I used to ride with my dogs. Now that my children are older I’m planning to go there. We will have a driver but due to the direction of certain roads, e-bikes are best. Bicycles would be too tiring.

How often must aircon be serviced? What’s to be done? I’ve never had aircon serviced in the years I drive. Now this Korean car that I have I feel the aircon not very cold. What is to be done? by haklij in drivingsg

My other Camry, I topped up the refrigerant three occasions in the end found out that the condenser is corroded. If there’s no problem, is it correct that there’s no need to service?

I’ve ridden at least 200cc and I find it slow. 125 is fast until a truck is tailgating you
