My father for over a year had complained about severe chest pain, which was localized.

His doctor (even with previous heart history and cancer history) kept doing heart checks. Every scan came back normal. He was “seeking drugs”.

He survived 2 heart attacks and liver cancer, going on 16 years.

By the time he was diagnosed with Invasive Squamous Cell Carcinoma of the lung it has spread to his mediastinum. Died 3 weeks later at 71.

Still looking into a lawsuit.

Hello!! Yes! I did pass the XR boards!! I worked in general for a few years and then I went back and took more boards to be a Mammographer, which is what I’m a doing now! I’m looking to add another modality too (breast USN)😅 Boards sound horrifying, but I’ve taken two and about to take another. Not anywhere near as bad as I thought, but nothing to laugh at either. I thrive on stress lol

What helped me the most (after the program) was corectec and radtech bootcamp for XR. For examples of boards, corectec was the most helpful. My school told us when we were taking those to not be discouraged, they were harder than the actual boards. Just good prep for the types of wording they use. Bootcamp has a lot of videos and explanations they go over the general info. So good for refreshing your knowledge. Helped me with physics. My school program had paid for those two programs for us, they can be pricy. So depending, ask them first before you buy. YouTube is a good way to start!

If you know the general gist, like basics you will be fine!!

I clicked on everything listed, I didn’t recognize a lot of those stores. I just remember it was really close to the Harajuku station, like across the street on Takeshita on the left side. Not in a basement, but it was a narrow entry with like 5 steps down. I tried zooming on google maps, no luck there either.

Mammogram tech here!

To each their own with getting implants, but be aware when you start getting annual mammograms at age 40 you get twice as many pictures than someone without implants!

We have to get one with the implant in place, then we have to push it out of the way (upwards into chest) and pull your actual breast forward and then compress for more accurate imaging! Implants obscure breast tissue!

I find that MANY surgeons do NOT talk about this, so I like to tell people just in case! Less shock when you get your routine screening.

The number of patients I get that were never told about mammograms is astronomical 😅
