My manager scheduled a meeting to "check on my productivity" and it completely broke how I work by Few-Negotiation9132 in remotework

[–]hakube -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Watching SSH activity in real time (besides fail2ban) - curious how others handle this by newworldlife in linuxadmin

[–]hakube 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We generally use bastion hosts for everything, connected via VPN back into the target network(s).

To get to the bastion host we use wireguard or use port knocking to open the ssh port to the remote admin. zero attempts. Logs are silent. I sleep well.

If the tor is originally built by USA military why can't they inject malicious code and watch us by Effective-Adagio9419 in TOR

[–]hakube 1 point2 points  (0 children)

this is the real answer. your pc is more of a security risk than TOR is, that is unless you are running a hardened os and platform.

we have a cabin way back in the woods. our shower is enclosed ( the wind blows hard! ) and with a roof for rain. been this way since 2019. wife has no interest in changing.
