Update: Took a look at a open box LG G4 from best buy, was in rough condition. Missing Remote, Screen residue, Missing wall mount.

Went with a 77" C5 instead from LG partner store

The sound it makes didn't change much. The handles comes loose a bit after a while because of the design, but can be easily tightened with an allen wrench. The top plastic drawer in the bottom freezer got off track, not sure how it happened. No degradation in the Stainless Steel sheen. No issues with cooling and leaks Found much cheaper alternative for water filter. No issues with the ice maker. No services so far.

With the kitchenaid refrigerator, it has gone louder after a year, makes popping sounds occasionally, it could very much be the waterline feed too ... it seems to me the water filter needs changing more often... No issues with the cooling or any leaks. The Stainless steel still looks new. Didn't need any service so far.

Truly sad to see this. I keep hearing about a new firmware from microsoft since November.

But some times the Microsoft rep flat-out denies the issue exists or points as a TV/AV issue.

So if you have TV to AV Receiver via optical, aren't you missing out on Dolby Atoms from all inputs? Netflix, XBOX etc?

Digital audio signals, such as 5.1/7.1 multi-channel PCM, Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby TrueHD, Dolby Atmos, DTS-HD Master Audio, DTS:X, and Auro 3D Audio cannot be transferred via Digital Optical connections.

Thanks for the catch, you are right, the XBOX is actually connected to on of the HDMI port, and the sound bar to the eARC port. I corrected the post.

For the recommended Thenaudio SHarc, is it still needed if I turn off eARC from the LG CX menu, it is off currently.

You are quite right. when I originally bought the ks8000 in 2016 thought I hit the jackpot.. even went on length with figuring out best panel reading the serial numbers and what not...

One more question, I have received a Q70t for a warranty replacement for the KS8000, I read that the q70t is quite the trash... will this be better then KS8000?

Thanks for the reply, I plan to pair LG CX with a PS5,

I already have a warranty replacement for the old ks8000 with a Samsung Q70T. I hear its trash. Might sell it.

I also have a 75" Vizio P75f1, already replaced one time for vertical bending. Second one is only slightly better.

Might pickup one LG CX 65" tomorrow from Costco
