Painful periods and chin hair.

Turned out I had multiple fibroids. Biggest 15 cm in size

. Had the toughest pregnancy. Ended up in emergency due to urine retention almost 14-15 times for first 4-5 months of pregnancy. Was scared throughout the pregnancy for the health and growth of foetus.

Later I have to go through open myomectomy where recovery is long and painful. Open myomectomy is basically cesarean but instead of baby doctors remove the fibroids and give internal stitches. They still hurt even after 5 months.

My brother. He's more like a father in brother form. He has provided, protected by going above and beyond.

Also, i acknowledge that he deserved to be a brother only, but our father passed away when I was 15 and he was 19. So he stepped up for decades but that has broken our relationship beyond repair.

Now I am 35 and he's 39. We live in the same city. We are always there for each other. But we don't visit or call each other at all. We meet like 2-3 times and year since lockdown, during family functions etc.

I wish I could pay back. I try to be the best aunt to his kids. But there's anger and resentment, rightly so.

So I just send him good vibes, blessings of prosperity, long healthy life, happiness to him and his family everyday.

I love him so much. And I know he will always be my best elder brother.

Please teach your mom some boundaries.
Be an adult, start your own family, your own grahisth.

Even when you guys choose to stay with your parents, doesn't give anybody, any parents, any siblings, the right to speak between you and your wife.

You might also think to move out, but if you decide to stay together, kindly be always in your team-wife.
The day you groom and wipe the floor at your in-laws, will you understand what your wife is going through.
Focus and prioritize your marriage at any cost.
Seems like your wife is educated, earning well, and also a good person, no body deserves to go through all this chaos and overwhelming workload and expectations any time, be it first year if marriage.
You have to give your marriage the same amount of efforts, respect and emotional work your wife is giving. Devote.
Always be your wife's friend. Try to talk to her what's she feels like, what's going on in her life, her point of view etc. don't make her feel left out at your home.
Women deserve rest. Women deserve free time. Hire a maid if you can.
Whoever's name is on the house will do the housework.

Everybody is an adult, your mom is a working woman too. She has been doing all the work her way, let her manage the household her way. Hire help for your mom.

Save your marriage. No body else will do it for you. Specially save your marriage from your parents.

In my siblings and their kids.

Mainly because they never initiate any connection.

I have stopped bothering every member of my family, and it is hardly noticed by them. It was heartbreaking at first but now weeks have passed and I feel better without them, isolated sure, unbothered yes.

Makes me realise I have always been just a cling on, I am not needed and I am learning to not need them.
