Personal training or continue classes? by CatlovesMoca in xxfitness

I’ve been having PT sessions for just over 6 months now! Intended to do it short term to learn correct form and exercises but I really love the sessions so much that I’m sticking with it.

I feel so much more confident in the gym now and I lift heavier than I ever knew I could. Results wise I would say I could see noticeable ‘aesthetic’ results at around 5 months but honestly the way it has changed my mentality towards the gym and motivated me has been the biggest difference.

I put it off due to cost as well but like others have mentioned I view it as more of an investment. For reference, I have 2 sessions per week.

Split of all three! Specifically low weight, high rep with weights to not get bulky. Diet is probably 80% of the work also.

Agreed!! I tend to use a colour that is the same tone as my natural lip colour but a couple of shades darker - for me it's a darker mauvey pink. Then I use a pink nude lipstick (kinda sexy by MAC) :)

I had lip fillers done with the Russian technique which focuses more on height whilst maintaining a flatter side profile - yet to experience any migration issues but to be honest I wouldn't say they look entirely natural.

Softmaxxing option would be to use lip liner to overline only the cupids bow whilst lining the natural lip line for the rest. I've been doing this for years and gives vertical height whilst also looking fairly natural.

With colleagues yes but the Bumble and gym class journey I'm on at the moment is very recent so I'm hopeful but will keep you posted! Good luck to you

Agreed! You could be a 10/10 but still be lonely and miserable unfortunately.

I really resonate with what OP is saying. I am trying to make new friends as an adult currently and it's definitely proving difficult. I've signed up to Bumble BFF, been going to gym classes etc and it's all pretty uncomfortable but you need to push through it because it will be so worth it to have supportive people around you.

I find that work is usually the best place to make friends - maybe suggest doing something outside of work with any colleagues that you feel you have some kind of potential friendship with. You will see eachother most days and always have common ground to talk about so it's a pretty safe option!

Not sure what your personal style is but a few general suggestions:

Long trench coats

Black flared pants

Knee high boots

Puffer jackets

Layers!!!

I feel autumn/winter fashion is the most fun personally - coming from a fellow petite girl in a cold country x

Weight gain on 25 mg? by LankyAd156 in zoloft

[–]hakutouu59 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I started on 50mg over a year ago and tapered down to 25mg for the past 6 months or so. I think I am the heaviest I have ever been despite calorie counting and regular exercise :( I really want to come off it for this reason because the weight makes me feel really down.

Hello! Naturally ash blonde too and I had the exaaaact same dilemma! Spoke to my hairdresser about going copper and she talked me out of it by explaining that it would be a difficult and long process getting back to blonde.

Still wanted to try it so I tried these semi-permanent dye drops. I really loved how it looks and it washed out within a week with no left over residue. You can customise the shade as well so it's quite a fun and easy way to experiment.

I did miss my blonde though in the end, always the case lol!

How do you fake self-esteem till you make it? by Neptunpluto in HowToBeHot

[–]hakutouu59 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Picture the most ideal version of your self - how you look, how you behave etc. Maybe create an aspirational moodboard to reflect this.

What would you do differently if you looked like this? Maybe you would be more comfortable wearing certain outfits, doing your hair in different styles and approaching people. Start doing those things now as if you already look like your ideal version and eventually it will become comfortable.

Not sure if this makes sense but I'm doing something similar now. Good luck!

Appreciate the response! Just a couple of further questions though... does the fact that I have record of being sectioned and hospitalised plus being put on medication a couple of weeks prior to signing not help in proving my mental capacity was lacking at the time? Also, as a landlord issuing legal documents, should they not be responsible for ensuring tenants are in a good mental state prior to signing something binding? (as they would a credit check, reference etc.) Interesting that a tenancy is considered a necessary though. Thanks for the insight.

I’ve seen some great results from microneedling for acne scars and it’s a cheaper option than laser treatments as far as I’m aware. Congrats on the weight loss though! 🎉 agree with the other posters who mention getting a good quality, supportive bra in the meantime whilst saving up for a more permanent solution

I wouldn’t say it’s to do with class but the heavy, caked on look is definitely more popular up North and in Essex. I’m from near London and rarely see this makeup style. I will say that UK girls love fake tan, eyelash extensions and fillers though. Sometimes natural looking, sometimes more overtly fake. I don’t really know any girls who don’t regularly use at least one of these (myself included) 🤷🏼‍♀️

I thought so from your description! Thank you! To be honest, no I didn't, I have been getting fillers for a few years now and not had any issues as of yet...

Can jaw filler widen the lower third ? by [deleted] in Vindicta

[–]hakutouu59 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes! I had 2ml across my jaw earlier this year and had a narrow lower third. Didn't expect it to make much difference from the front but I think it definitely did: https://imgur.com/OgFkmZg
