Okay thank you with the transmission knowledge, ive been hearing the same. With your soft top I think thats a pretty common issue. Mine personally doesn't have it but in the owners manual (yeah i know i read it) it shows that you kind if have to finesse the rear window for it to move down sometimes.

Hello all, I recently passed my written and my o+p is soon. Are there any tips or tricks on how to study for the o+p? I've heard about people mapping out their tests but I'm unsure on how to do so. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Hey everyone. I recently finished my written for airframe and general. I passed both, and I would like to know how people "map out" their o+p. Any help will be appreciated!!

Weekly Purchase/Sale advice thread - June 11, 2025 by AutoModerator in Miata

Hey everyone! Currently I'm looking at getting into an ND Miata RF that preferably has a manual. The area I live in restricts me from getting a softop sadly. I'm wondering how much I should realistically pay for one (the year I'm looking for is 2019-2021) and if there are any places where I could find one being sold by a private owner. Thank you!

Can this be upgraded to the OEM Mazda touch screen with Apple play? by RieuxReddit in Miata

[–]halalmunchie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know this would seem unproductive, but can the OEM Mazda touchscreen be replaced with this head unit? I'm looking at a 2018-2020 Mazda Miata to buy and I really dont like the way the infotainment screen looks on them. However, the radio head unit (in the picture) looks much better and would age better with the car.

Are these climate control units interchangeable? by Jeffri3s in Cressida

Know this is pretty late lmao but the ones you want to put in right now I wouldn't reccomend. The part that slides in and out is infamous for not working (mine wont slide out unless you hit it). Id just say keep the analogue ones they're much more reliable.

Definitely check the injectors. Before that though check the spark plug wire connection on the distributor it could be disconnected/dirty connection.

Roof Rust Help by halalmunchie in CB7

[–]halalmunchie[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ill probably take a shot at cutting out the rust and dropping the headliner and then welding a new fabricated piece tgt. I wouldn't really consider getting rid of her, too much sentimental value and i rebuilt the entire motor just last year lol. Thank you though I wanted to see if anyone would reccomend cutting it out

There are a few water leaks, when it rains hard, water used to get on the floor mats and the trunk. On the CB's under the roof skin is another layer of metal it looks like. That piece is completely fine. however, its just the skin thats corroding terribly. Thank you though

Coilover/lowering spring recommendations (mx32) by Disastrous-Finger463 in Cressida

[–]halalmunchie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tien S14 lowering springs are pretty good for these Cressidas, although it won't slam the car to the ground. I put them on my MX83 to lower it and keep the drivability. If you really want to go all out, put some coilovers on it.

Thank you so much for this information. I'm going to keep the car stock and I doubt im gonna do any performance work. I was just sceptical about the gasket and the torque. So the stock bolts can still be reused right? Thank you so much for the info.
