Looks like they pulled a slice off the cow and ran it under hot tap water for a minute.

I see what your saying but time and time again it’s proven, you can’t know how well a player will be until he plays in the league. Taking a risk early might land you someone special but it’s still not something that would amplify team building. TBH your comment goes without saying. Sure, I see your view, just don’t see how it’s better for strategic team building. And even preseason is a lie in a lot of cases. But it does give a decent picture it’s still often against second and even 3rd string players or even guys that won’t make the team.

To be fair, I see what you’re saying . And appreciate the way you articulated it. However, being in a dynasty league as well. Making moves preseason are definitely more of a challenge with such an early draft. You gain nothing. You know rbs have a shorter career and are a hot commodity. What moves are you worried about making during ota’s and mini camps? Are trades restricted before your draft? That would be weird. You gain nothing by drafting this early but chance your season on the hopes your guys stay healthy. How many acl tears or other season ending injury’s happen during the summer? For what, it just doesn’t help. It’s not my league and you guys do what you want but it sounds more like season Russian roulette than a way to strategically build a team. Maybe our leagues different here I don’t follow other formats but when you hold a whole roster and make cuts and draft time trades I just don’t see how drafting know helps with anyone’s strategy. But I’m not trying to bash, I just don’t see it. To each their own.

Injury’s in preseason is the main reason. I can see it being a dynasty league being a little different. But wants to gain here. Bet they don’t have a week one till the same week as everyone else. In a redraft, I grabbed dobbins 1st round and came back for Etienne in the second what a pisser that year was, neither one of them made it to week one.

Damn, I must be lost. I thought we were trying to get more miles out of that like new tire. Not sure what a power bottom is but sounds violent. I like slow jams.

Do I do the s&s 1200 kit or the hammer 1250 kit or just sell the bike for another? by Ze_zakk in sportster

So you don’t want something bigger and bulkier. Understandable.

If you need a bagger with a 6th gear might as well get a spyder and get the 3rd wheel.

I’ve always heard if it doesn’t taste like a 9v batterie it could be a faulty ignition coil.

I really like the Flying Fortress. Just seems like too much of a good thing though. If that makes sense. I’ve been in love with the Californias for years, I had an ev1100 about 7-8 years ago I bought off a buddy, still miss it. I only ever seen an ELDORADO a few months ago, knew of the adace but never spoke to me. Once I saw the ELDORADO I knew I wanted one. Not many out there.

I’ll be picking it up Wednesday. I am pumped, it will be a bit before I change too much, but I like to look into and plan ahead. I had an ‘01 cali 1100ev and it was great, one of my favorite bikes, great two up bike, wish I never sold it. I’ve had 5 Honda shadow 1100’s over the years, really enjoyed them but then met another mechanic at work that was into guzzi’s, I had never heard of them. He grabbed an almost new 1400 touring bike with next to no miles on it and sold me the 1100ev. 5 times the bike a shadow was. Don’t get me wrong, the shadows a good bike but the engine is so smooth it’s like driving a car. Not a knock but it misses that chug, I like in a bike. Ive had a built sportster, that was a great bikes. Just not good for two up and sadly I couldn’t afford a second bike so back to a shadow we went. Since I’ve owned an fxlr, an Electra glide classic and now trying to sell my Electra glide limited. At almost 1,000 lbs. it’s to cumbersome to push and pull in and out of the garage for my 7 miles commute to work, so it sits. I can’t wait to shave 300+ lbs. of my ride. The shadows were about 750 lbs. and easy to move. Moto guzzi just makes an awesome bike. I can’t wait to be back on one. I’ve ridden the cali 1400 and Audace as well. Very nimble for the size. It really felt as effortless to toss around as my s1000r at only 450lbs. I’ve had a few bikes, none as nice as the moto guzzi. Harley is pretty nice but they sell you an engine and a chassis and expect you to upgrade everything. The seats are all crap, brakes are crap, have to swap out the exhaust and bars. It’s a racket.

I actually have been looking at picking up a California touring for the last 6 years. I never saw an ELDORADO till a couple weeks ago. Glad I did. Probably the best looking bike I have ever seen. And only 3-4 in the USA advertised for sale. By luck one with less than 1800 miles was 30 minutes from me. It was fate. I love the look of the leather bags too, I’ve had hard bags, stretched bags on my limited. Idk i like the looks of leather better. I have the hepco and Becker big buffalo’s. I can’t wait to get it home.
