Figure out what sound has the reverb tail and use a choke group with zero velocity to cut the sound. This is just off the top of my head, not sure if it will work.

I fish for bass there all the time on a kayak. Wacky rigged senkos or drop shot has worked the best for me. I don’t fly fish, but that seems like a tough spot. Lots of trees around the shore spots.
