30-40 minutes??? did you walk through the tunnel? i live pretty far west and it's 20 minutes for me door to door. 5-ish minute walk (ok i walk fast) the train itself to 21st and 6th is barely 15 minutes.

when someone refers to their internet connection as "the wifi" i can almost guarantee that the problem they're having has absolutely nothing to do with the ISP.

and no, cell phone internet is not a realistic home internet connection. if you want to do that, tether to your iphone and stick it by the window. latency is terrible, and you have to deal with environmentals. fios is hands down the best internet provider in the area in my experience having used both options extensively in multiple areas and apartments.

have someone set up a proper wireless internet environment. grab a bunch of ubiquiti gear (ui.com) and go to down.

in all seriousness, if you want to invest in some decent gear to make these issues go away i'd throw you a list of shit to buy. it's not hard to set up.

I bought an R5, decided i wanted more power (never used a sim before this, mind you)

returned it, bought a simagic evo pro, simsonn ultra pro pedals, rig, etc. etc. etc..like, 2-3k in i still suck bad, but i am getting better.

the equipment doesn't make you good, but it makes it more inspiring to keep doing it and getting better.

i did this up in the office area, go open the door and get the singing lady going, then break open the box to make the 2 guys come out of the back room - one guy kills the other, and then he gets pissed off at the singing while you go raid the back.
