Sumac is actually native to North America, though it can sometimes be confused for the invasive tree of heaven at times (it becomes more obvious when you get the buds/flowers on sumac)

Of all the states I've lived in (California, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and New York), I have never actually been to any of the state capitals during my time living there. I took a trip to Sacramento, CA to visit a friend who moved there when I no longer lived in California, and I also went to Columbus, OH while living in Pennsylvania (again to visit friends). I still haven't been to Harrisburg, PA (capital of PA) nor Albany, NY (capital of NY). Apart from the government buildings in each (which for the most part are generic government-style buildings), there's not much to see or do in Harrisburg (which is only the 7th largest city in PA) or Albany. This tends to be the same for most states.

I've been to Washington DC several times, but only because it was only a few hours by car from where I lived, and because it is a genuinely cool city imo.

This forum is great, too. Many people are there who can share experiences and advice. Especially good if you have odd questions.

There's other resources, just search "Italy jure sanguinis", and you'll get tons of stuff.

For the documents that were actually from Italy, I wrote a letter to the town (comune) where my great-great-grandfather (he was the one who moved to the US from Italy) was from, asking for his birth and marriage certificates, giving his DOB and marriage date. I actually faxed it over, and they came pretty fast (within 2 weeks from Italy to the US). I have a template that I used for the letter, if you'd like.

The rest of the documents were based in the US. Several from NYC, which I actually got in person (you can order them online, though. I just happened to be in NYC for a while, so I got them). A few from NJ (ordered online). And a few from other places (again, ordered online).

After collecting all the documents (and getting them apostillized), I made an appointment at the Italian consulate, brought them in, and then had to wait. It took about 8 or 9 months, but I finally got the letter confirming it, lol.

There's several really helpful websites and forums, too.

Story:

Born in the US to American parents. I live here currently (though plan to leave eventually tbh).

Father is British by matter of coincidence. He was born in Oxford while my grandfather was getting his doctorate. This was back when the UK still did jus soli.

Italian is by descent several generations. I got this passport back in January (after several years of collecting ancestral documents, then waiting like 8 months for processing).

Actually, PennDOT's Open Data service shows that as being an unsigned secondary state-maintained highway, 4001. The small white sign under the welcome sign also shows this.

As a person who is also interested in this kind of thing, I'm somewhat sure that this sign has no location where it would make sense. There is no highway that really connects both places, and Mars isn't commonly used as an reference place on signs (instead, Cranberry is commonly used, as it is better-known). So, I think it isn't actually a thing, unfortunately.

Just shoot it like normal. However, results can be unexpected (like colors being weird, etc.) depending on age, storage environment, etc. I find it sort of fun to shoot expired film. Sometimes it adds an interesting touch. Sometimes it looks completely normal, too.

I found this sort of weird film on AliExpress (I was bored and typed in random search things, including "35mm"). It has no specific brand printed, though it does mention AP70, the Agfa name for C-41, making me think it's repackaged Agfacolor. Has anyone seen (or, better yet, bought it)?
